A father of four was evading police yesterday and had 4 children in the truck with him. He managed to get away, and when the truck was found, he and the children were gone. CPS says they can not put up an Amber Alert, due to the father not having any record of violence. Excuse me???? If he is operating a motor vehicle recklessly, with his children in the vehicle, and eluding police in a dangerous car chase, would that not be endangering a child? Or in his case, his children?
What is wrong with our judicial system when something as obvious as this is a major problem, visible to all and clearly an act of unlawful behavior not a cause to Alert the public and put it up on an Emergency Billboard?
Why do we wait until a tragedy, before we act?
